But I am thinking about getting back into it. It seems like all the cool people are on tumblr.
After 5 days of hanging out near the beaches of San Diego, my love of the ocean is re-affirmed. I could sit and watch the waves roll in all day long. Maybe one day I’ll live by the ocean.
For now, a vacation on Pacific Beach will do.
Aside from this being my first awesome idea as a full-fledged editor, it’s also a good way to get your hands on an iPad.
You know how awesome it would be to have an iPad, but you don’t want to have to buy one yourself. Here is your chance to get one.
Tell your friends. Do it.
Do it RIGHT NOW!
I should have known better. I was reading up on my son on Twitter (crazy, I know). Earlier today he emailed me to let me know he got jumped when he was walking down the street on the lower East side last night. Broke his glasses and now he has a nasty cut on his cheek. When I saw the photo of it on Twitter, I posted it to my Facebook page. Then my Mom (his grandma) called. Immediately. She said “You don’t post things like that on your Facebook page without calling your mother.”
Shame on me. Phone calls first, Facebook second.
I’ve learned my lesson. Now if only I could find that guy who hurt my baby…
Speed Whiskers, Art Lab Fort Collins’ second official house band, plays First Friday Gallery Walk and the Art of the Bicycle 2010 closing reception.
What do you get when you display 20 handmade bikes, art by high school kids, and a live band? The biggest night ever at Art Lab Fort Collins.
The fourth Thursday is one of my favorite days of the month because I attend Refresh NoCo’s Designer Drinks and hang out with some of my favorite people in town - designers. They are my peeps. Though they’d all be disgusted if they heard me call them peeps (not cool enough). I like it because it gives me a chance to wear black, mingle with design and marketing folk in NoCo, catch up with friends, knock back a few frozen cocktails, and complain about bad clients. Former clients. All our existing clients are awesome. No, really.
See you at Luscious Nectar today from 4 to 7:30pm.
